The child went missing on December 27th, and survived by eating berries and digging small wells to access water underground. “What saved him is the technique learnt from a young age in dry [and] drought prone areas of drawing water from a dry river bank”.
This park is filled with lions, rhino, buffalo, and elephants. Heavy rains derailed the search party, but then they found human footprints that led to finding the boy.
“Remarkably, it is estimated that he walked through the harsh terrain of the lion-infested Park for (30 miles) from his village to the point where he was found.” He was frail and treated at the hospital.
